2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the algarveurlaub.pt website and the booking of the tourist accommodation rental services offered here. By using this website, the user fully accepts these terms.

3. Bookings

3.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made by requesting availability via the contact form or by phone/email. A booking is only confirmed after:

Written confirmation from Algarve Urlaub;
Payment of the agreed deposit.

3.2 Payment

The payment terms are as follows:

A 30% deposit of the total amount upon booking confirmation;
Payment of the remaining balance up to 60–45 days before the check-in date;
For bookings made less than 30 days in advance, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Accepted payment methods will be indicated at the time the booking is confirmed.

3.3 Security Deposit

A security deposit of €250 to €700 must be provided before arrival via a separate transfer to our account, unless otherwise agreed. This amount will be refunded after the property has been inspected.

3.4 Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by the customer:

Cancellation more than 60 days in advance: full refund of the deposit;
Cancellation between 30 and 60 days: loss of 50% of the deposit;
Cancellation less than 30 days in advance: total loss of the deposit/payment.

Algarve Urlaub reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of force majeure, with a full refund of all amounts paid.

4. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in: from 4:00 PM;
Check-out: by 10:00 AM.

Alternative times may be arranged subject to availability and prior request.

5. Use of the Accommodation

The customer undertakes to:

Use the accommodation carefully and respectfully;
Not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for each property;
Respect house rules and not disturb the neighbourhood;
Immediately report any damage or malfunction identified;
Not hold parties or events without prior written authorisation.

Any damage caused to the property or its contents will be the customer’s responsibility and may be charged afterwards.

6. Additional Services

Available additional services (private driver, personal chef, boat trips, among others) are provided by external partners. Booking them is subject to availability and specific conditions, which will be communicated at the time of request.

7. Liability

Algarve Urlaub is not liable for:

Loss, theft or damage to the customer’s personal belongings;
Force majeure events that prevent access to or use of the accommodation;
Acts or omissions of third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — texts, photographs, logos and design — is the property of Algarve Urlaub and may not be reproduced without prior written authorisation.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For any dispute, the court of the Silves district shall have jurisdiction.
